Oh how I love babies...

I've been dying for some babies to practice on and man..they all came at once. Taking pictures of babies is a whole different experience. You are definitely on their time schedule. You might as well just plan on a whole afternoon when there is a baby in the studio cause they are just so fun. I have been busy learning how to knit so I could make cute baby knit hats, wraps and cocoons. My neighbor made this adorable hat that Rebecca has on. Doesn't it just melt your heart! Thanks Shelly for coming over and letting me practice on your sweet baby.

My husbands secretaries Angie and Nikki both had their babies two days apart, which made for an interesting couple of weeks. I was trying to fill in and do my best to help Matt so he didn't get too overloaded and kill over. There's no amount of Thank you's I can give to these two amazing girls for helping and doing a great job for my husband. So the least I could do is take some precious pictures of their precious new babies! Congrats girls and both of your babies are beautiful!

Brynlee is Olivia's BFF. They are inseparable and in fact are starting to act more like sisters than just friends. We had so much fun playing with my new petticoats. Wouldn't you just love to have eyes that color and skin that soft. Lucky Girl.

Brand New Baby Wanted and More Classes.

Tonight I made a splurge of a purchase. Of course, it has to do with another photography prop. My husband either rolls his eyes or laughs every time I come home with another old {new} treasure for myself. I thought about taking a picture to show everyone, but I would rather it be a surprise with an actual baby inside. So now that I have you wondering what this fantastic new prop is...listen on.

So here's the deal...I am looking for a brand new baby to help me play with my new prop. This new babe needs to be less than 2 weeks old. I don't know any expecting mothers who are ready to pop so if you are or know someone who is send them my way. I will offer you a smokin' deal of a photo session. Let me reassure you, you will not want to pass this one up.

I am still going to post some before and afters of my photoshop class it just has to get in line. We had a great time and I love to see what everyone has been doing.

More Classes

I am thinking about teaching a basic photography class and another advanced photography class. If anyone out there is interested let me know so I can actually get serious about it. This time around we are going to have some fun prizes, like maybe a fantastic Lastolite Tri-Grip reflector or even a Expodisc for doing a custom white balance. Rockin' Babe!

It's amazing how fast kids grow up. Tonight when I was editing these pictures my husband asked, "Who is that...Is that Isabella?????" He couldn't believe it. He almost didn't recognize her. Granted he sees her everyday and maybe the hat threw him off, but still she's not one of our babies anymore. I attempted to take some of Max also but it just wasn't happening. We were running out of light and time, so maybe tomorrow he will be our rockin' dude?!

Almost 2 weeks ago my friend Ali came over and we took some fun baby pictures. I love to experiment with the babes cause they usually don't complain too much. Between Ali and I we have 8 kids. So imagine 7 kids running around, one dog trying to be in on the action and then the newbie trying to fit in. We managed pretty well. Thanks Ali for letting me use your baby to get that photography fix..You're the best!

We're so glad that captured this little dude when we did cause Ali said that he gain a whole pound in one week and is chunking out. That's a good reminder...Make sure you schedule your photo shoot with in the first 2 weeks of the newbie's life to make sure you get that baby fresh look.

A few weeks ago I took some pictures of my nieces and nephew. We took some close ups of Austins basketball to hang as art work in his room. They turned out really neat. I am excited to see them big on his wall.

McKall's Getting Married!

Our first babysitter, McKall, is getting married Sat. August 2, 2008. I cant believe she is that old. I took some fun pictures of her and her soon to be husband, Tyson, a few weeks ago and we had so much fun.

I was also able to take her BEAUTIFUL bridals a few weeks ago also. I have tried so hard to hold off of displaying them for fear Tyson just might some how see her in her dress. But I will give a little peak. Since the wedding is only in 8 hours and hopefully he should be sleeping.

I will post more after we are in the clear.

I just want to wish her the best of luck in her eternal marriage to Tyson. Thank you for being the best babysitter ever. You will make the best mom...when that time comes. We love you!
